Each time I attend one of these conferences I come away energized not because of the content of the sessions; yet the honesty of the speakers that encourage each one that proves we should be authentic and true to ourselves.
One such speaker was Luvvie Ajayi (aka Awesomely Luvvie), the author of “I’m Judging You: The Do-Better Manual”, a New York Times best-selling author, speaker and digital strategist who thrives at the intersection of comedy, technology and activism. She is a profound presenter that takes her place on stage and speaks her ‘Truth’. Her session was packed with those that knew her journey of life; yet when the session was at its end we all wanted to hear more.
She impressed me with a few words that continue to resonate:
“We’re all walking around being told that we’re not enough, whether big or small, short or tall.” WE.Are.Enough. These words stand alone as after each word is a period.
She presented her information with humor; yet, her voice and presence engaged all within her reach.
