Tory Johnson – Spark & Hustle and Tina Player – TP Events
What a great experience at the conference in Atlanta on Friday June 15th. The energy was high and the expert speakers were awesome with so much valuable information to share. Each conference, workshop or networking meeting that I attend or coordinate I come back with refreshed and new ideas.
The conference was held at the beautiful Cobb Galleria Centre and the buzz from vendors met me as I entered the ballroom. It is always amazing how creative ideas are turned into profitable projects.
The conference started with a welcome from Tory Johnson Founder and CEO of Women for Hire. You can also relate to her from ABC’s Good Morning America. She is all about spark and hustle and encouraging women to see and achieve our goals in life. What an array of phenomenal woman throughout the day. Tory says it’s about building and knowing what you want and having the desire to hustle because the power of that strength of your hustle is important to your growth.
Speaker List: Tierra Destiny Reid, founder of Stylish Consignments (TierraDestinyReid.Com); Leslie Zinn, CEO of Arden’s Garden (ardensgarden.com); Lanelle Henderson, Regional Development Director of Constant Contact (constantcontact.com) rocked the house with three emphatic words: challenge, engagement and social visibility. Cindy Morrison, Social Media Strategist (cindywmorrison.com) is a social media rock star; Stacie Connerty, Blogger and Social Media Consultant (selected by Lifetime Moms.com); Lauren Janis, founder of Big Daddy Biscuits (bigdaddybiscuits.com) – her faithful business partner is her American Bulldog, Big Daddy; Desiree Scales, CEO of Bella Web Design (bellawebdesign.com) and Jenn Lee, National Speaker and Small Business Advisor (coachjennlee.com).
OK Jenn I did not pounce at the right time because I was so writing down the information. However, I did remember the phrase ‘Who else, Where else and How else’.
Cynthia Good, founder of Little PINK Book (littlepinkbook.com) – have the courage to face your fears and move forward.
Other lunch expert speakers were: Aprille Franks-Hunt, CEO of Women Recharged (aprillefranks.com); Jim DeBetta, Product Development; and Mindy Black, Owner of Inner Beauty Skin Care, Inc. (innerbeautysc.com).
As you can see this was so worth the time — And that is not all as there were other authors and vendors all over the place.
New author of Instantly!: How Quickly I realized I HATE My Job – Shameeka Ayers (thebrokesocialite.com) will not be broke for long.
It’s in the click of my heels,
The bend of my hair,
the palm of my hand,
The need of my care,
‘Cause I’m a woman
